Our Story
When I was younger, working in the handbag department was a total dream—I was surrounded by racks of beautiful bags, studying every detail, feeling every material. I loved that handbags were pieces you could invest in and use every single day to elevate or accentuate whatever you were wearing.
But tucked away in the back corner of the store was one overlooked category: diaper bags. Unlike the elegant pieces I admired, these felt like an afterthought—stripped of style, quality, and identity. Why was there such a divide between bags for women tending to children and those without? All women deserve a bag that’s functional and beautiful.
That’s why I started MINA BAIE—to bring the same level of care, craftsmanship, and design found in luxury handbags into the world of diaper bags. We create timeless, versatile pieces that work hard, look beautiful, and actually make your life easier. Because this isn’t just about a bag—it’s about investing in yourself, in a season when so much is about everyone else.

I’ve been obsessed with bags my entire life.
Me as a little girl: Saved all my money from chores and birthdays to buy bags.
Me as a young adult: Worked at a giant retail store in the handbag department.
Me as an adult: Started my own company… a bag company, obviously.
"Working in the handbag department was little Jenna’s dream-- racks and racks of bags, discounts galore and time to observe and appreciate the details of every bag. I studied the features, inspected the materials and just loved the idea that bags are pieces you can invest in and use every day.
But there was one type of bag that was hidden away in the corner, rather than displayed proudly at the entrance with the other beautiful bags: the diaper bags. And for good reason! None of the features I loved about my bags were being carried over into diaper bags. There seemed to be a divide between items designed for women without children and items designed for women with children, and this just didn’t make sense.
All women love and need pockets and organization in their bags. All women deserve a bag that helps them elevate their outfit, not drag it down.
I became determined to bring the same quality and care found in handbags into the diaper bag space. I wanted to see a diaper bag displayed proudly at the front of the store, like the designer bags were—thus Mina Baie was born.
As a company, we didn’t want to design a diaper bag that would be used for a year and thrown away. We wanted to design timeless, versatile pieces, with care and thought. And that is what we did.
I became a mother to Amelia in 2018 and my whole world changed. Every year since, the company has doubled in size. I don’t think it’s a coincidence—my passion compounded. I now fully understand how important it is to have pieces in your closet that help you feel like yourself again… and always fit".
